Self Esteem Self Love & Confidence

Self Esteem Self Love & Confidence

Fears of speaking in public; not confronting someone about being wrong, in order to avoid conflict or fear of rejection; over-giving in relationships; saying ‘yes’ to another drink, or slice of cake, when you really mean ‘no’; and not being able to accept a compliment - are all signs of low self- esteem. Your opinion of yourself, what you think of your own ‘worth’, really does make a difference to your life.

Do you find you are blaming yourself when it’s not your fault, underestimating your own abilities and expecting things you do, to always go wrong?

The effects of valuing yourself too low can result in relationship problems, underachievement at work and college, feelings of loneliness; or, behaviours that damage health and self- sabotage, such as over- eating or alcohol to achieve a short term high.

Have you ever considered that you may be trying too hard to be liked? Everyone wants other people to like them but ‘Self -Esteem’ actually means I Like Myself.

A tailored programme of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy will reveal your own negative self- talk and any triggers in your life. Hypnotherapy, can help release these negative emotions on an unconscious level which is where these thoughts live. This programme will help you to develop the skills to be more objective about your strong points and claim back the confidence in your abilities. You will begin to ‘Like Yourself’ more and have a positive outlook on life in the future.

  • Thanks, so much Anita, for everything! I’m really going to miss our sessions and talking to you, but I feel stronger now than I ever have before. I feel ready to tackle the next part of my life using all the tools you’ve provided to restore my self-confidence and self-belief. Before talking to you I was always so self-critical about myself; I could do better, work harder, be funnier, and this created such blocks in my life. But now I realise that the person I am - ‘is good enough’, I’m looking forward to getting to know myself in this light and it’s all because of you. You’ve changed my life xx

  • Anita helped me when I came to her, my relationship with my fiancé was strange and uncomfortable. I wasn’t sure whether it was wedding nerves or something deeper. I worked with Anita and realised how I was trying ‘too hard’ with him. I had lost my confidence and spark. He picked everything, venue, my outfits, my friends. I even let his mum walk all over me. I exited this toxic relationship with absolutely no regret.

  • Dear Anita, I would first like to thank you for the work that you have done with me regarding my addiction to Pepsi Max. I have been trying to kick the habit for years without any success.]

I am very pleased to tell you that I don’t have any desire to drink this substance anymore and I am actually now committed to staying away from any diet drinks. In the past when I had given up for some time it was always a battle, and I had to exercise a lot of will power constantly to resist buying or drinking it, and this made me feel miserable and deprived. I guess that would explain me constantly falling off the wagon. Now, I have no desire to drink it. There are no inner battles or feelings of missing out or being deprived.

This is where I am now and I thank you for getting me to this place.

You have been wonderful. Many thanks,
