Overcome Fear of Rejection, Fear of Uncertainty & Perfectionism...

Do you feel uncomfortable with uncertainty, wanting a guaranteed outcome before trying a new activity, or a fear of not being able to do it well enough, so putting it off?

Do you worry about being judged, or alternatively, find you are trying to control other people’s behaviours and situations to be in line with your expectations - which is having a negative impact on your relationships?

Do you excessively overthink and ruminate about a situation or event, beat yourself up about things until you are mentally exhausted or burnt- out?

This type of self- doubt is a deeply engrained thinking pattern of perfectionists and can be disruptive in your everyday life leading to negative emotions and mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, OCD and even panic -disorder.

Perfectionism is not the same thing as striving to be your best. Perfection is not always about healthy achievement and growth, especially if you find yourself unable to be proud of your progress, and hard work, but instead intimidated by the goals you set yourself, becoming overwhelmed or paralysed.

By combining CBT, Mindfulness and Hypnotherapy techniques, I can help with these issues that caused you to develop perfectionistic qualities. By recognising the sources, or triggers that create this behaviour and understanding your unconscious fears of disapproval and failure, you can learn to become aware of how this thinking has been controlling your feelings and behaviours.

With this awareness I can help you to reframe your thinking and give you the skills to manage typical uncomfortable situations. This will restore a healthy balance of self -esteem, so that you develop a more positive outlook on life, with a more realistic standard of what is perfect.
